Tsuneo, a marine biology student, stumbles into a part-time job as a caretaker for Josee, an artist with paraplegia. Despite her bratty behavior, the two develop a friendship based on a mutual love of the sea. As their lives become more complicated, they must both weigh the costs of chasing their dreams and nurturing their relationship.
