Featuring the closing of artist Jess Johnson’s exhibition g/re/p, Richard Bailey’s short film “The Legacy of an Outsider” selected by Hyperreal Film Club, and a screening of Everything Is Terrible's feature-length mash-up The Great Satan, this kick-off to our new collaborative screening series is appropriately set on the eve of the highest day of the year!
BYOW, bug spray, and blankets because this will be an outdoor screening! Visit the concession stand (bar) for classic movie snacks and plenty of your favorite beverages from Austin Beerworks, Lalo Tequila, Richard’s Rainwater, and more!
The event is FREE for members of Co-Lab Projects, Hyperreal Film Club, and We Luv Video. $5 General Admission for everyone else. Doors @ 7pm, Screenings @ 8:30pm.
Exhibiting artist Jess Johnson designed the cover for Everything is Terrible’s The Great Satan VHS release, a copy of which will be added to We Luv Video’s collection after the event.
